How to counter anti-air (SAM & AA)

Air defense is the umbrella the whole enemy army lives under: while SAMs stand, your air force doesn't work. Radar systems die to SEAD aircraft (Prowler, Su-24MP) and artillery on scouted positions; heavy tanks simply tank the missiles and roll them over. Kill the AA — open the sky — and your aviation decides the map.
