Broken Arrow meta decks (2026) — the current best decks by faction

The current Broken Arrow meta after the 1.2 update: which specializations and decks are strongest right now for the USA and Russia, why, and ready-to-copy deck ideas by ELO bracket.

What "meta" means right now

The meta is simply the set of decks and units that win most in ranked play at a given patch. It shifts with every balance change, so a deck that topped the charts two updates ago can be mid-tier today. This guide reflects the game after the latest update and is refreshed as the numbers move.

Our tier list and unit stats are rebuilt from real match data, not opinion, and can be filtered by ELO stage (low / mid / high). That matters: the strongest picks at 2500+ are not the same as what wins in the 0–1500 bracket, where team play and micro are looser.

USA — strongest specializations and decks

The USA's top ranked pairings lean on air power and precision support. Stryker Cavalry and SOF give fast recon plus dedicated anti-air (Stinger, M-SHORAD, Patriot), which shuts down the helicopter and CAS spam that decides many games. Armored + Airborne stays a reliable brawler with Abrams up front and airborne infantry to hold objectives.

The DLC Baltic Battalion opens flexible combined-arms lists with heavy infantry and support. If you want a template, open a ready USA deck from our showcase, download the .dek and load it straight into the game.

Russia — strongest specializations and decks

Russia's meta is built on armor and artillery weight. Guard Tank + Motorized gives a dense T-90M/T-80 core with strong tube and rocket artillery (Msta, Smerch) behind it. VDV + Mechanized is the aggressive combined-arms answer, trading some armor for mobility and airborne reach.

The Coastal Troops (Naval Infantry) pairings bring missile and long-range fire options for players who like to shape the map before committing. As with the USA, the fastest way to try one is to copy a Russia deck from the showcase and tweak it in the builder.

Read the tier list by ELO before you copy

A deck is only "meta" for the bracket you actually play in. Use the tier list's ELO stage toggle — Low (0–1500), Mid (1500–2000), High (2000+) — to see how a unit's effectiveness changes with skill level. AA and precision units climb as you go up; cheap spam units fall off.

Pair that with the counters pages: knowing what beats heavy armor, helicopters and infantry is what turns a copied list into wins. The meta rewards flexible decks that answer several threats, not a one-trick build.

Copy a deck and start climbing

Don't build from scratch on day one. Grab a proven list from the deck showcase, download the .dek, and play ten games to learn its tempo before you change anything. Then open the deck builder to swap the two or three cards that don't fit your style.

Track what actually works for you in the match history and player stats — the meta on paper is a starting point, and your own results tell you which decks to keep.
