Broken Arrow scenarios & custom missions: how to find, play and make them

What counts as a scenario in Broken Arrow?
In Broken Arrow, "scenarios" cover two things: the built-in single-player operations and missions that ship with the game, and custom skirmish battles you set up yourself against the AI. A skirmish lets you pick the map, the factions on each side, the number of AI opponents and their difficulty — a fast way to test a deck or learn a map without queueing for ranked PvP.
This is different from the competitive multiplayer maps: those are the 20 PvP battlegrounds covered in our maps guide. Scenarios are the PvE and practice side of the game.
How to play a scenario or skirmish
From the main menu, open the single-player / skirmish section, choose a mission or a custom battle, then pick your map and set the AI. Bringing a solid deck matters even against the AI — start from a proven meta build so you are practising with cards you will actually use in ranked.
Skirmish vs AI is the best low-pressure place to rehearse recon, point-based buying, anti-air placement and combined-arms pushes before you take them online.
Where to find community missions
Beyond the official content, players share custom missions and mods through the game's supported channels and community hubs (Discord, forums, and any in-client mod/workshop support the current build offers). Always grab community files from the official game community rather than random file hosts, and check they match your game version — a mission built for an older patch can fail to load after an update.
Note on pirated copies: cracked "пиратка" builds routinely break custom content, online play and updates. If scenarios or downloaded missions won't load, an unofficial copy is the usual reason — the game is a Steam title and its content pipeline expects the real client.
Making your own scenario
The most reliable way to "make" a scenario today is a custom skirmish: fix the map, sides, AI count and difficulty to recreate the situation you want to drill — a defensive hold, an armor rush, an air-heavy fight. Save the setup you like and reuse it.
