Where Broken Arrow stores your decks
Broken Arrow keeps your saved decks in your local user profile, not in the game's install folder. On Windows they live under your user data at AppData\LocalLow\SteelBalalaikaStudio\BrokenArrow — the same place the game keeps your settings and news cache. That folder is what you back up or copy to another PC to move your decks with you.
Because decks are stored per user, reinstalling the game usually keeps them, but wiping that folder (or a fresh machine) starts you with an empty deck list. If your decks 'disappeared', check that folder before rebuilding from scratch.
Deck codes: how sharing works
Every deck can be expressed as a compact deck code — a short string that encodes the faction, the two doctrines, and every unit card with its chosen modifications and transport. That single string is the whole army; anyone who pastes it gets an exact copy of your list.
This is why you'll see players trading codes rather than screenshots: a screenshot shows a deck, a code lets you actually load it. The code is not human-readable on its own — it's encoded — so to 'decode' one you paste it into the game or a deck tool that renders the units.
How to import a deck into the game
Open the deck manager in Broken Arrow and use the import option, then paste a deck code you copied from a friend, a guide or a community site. The game rebuilds the full list — faction, doctrines and every card — and you can save it as your own and edit it before a match.
If someone shared a deck file instead of a code, place it in the decks folder inside your BrokenArrow user data (the LocalLow path above) and it will show up in your list. Codes are usually easier to pass around than files.
Sharing your own deck
To share a deck you built, export or copy its code from the deck manager and send that string — in a Discord message, a forum post or a guide. The recipient imports it exactly. Keep a note of which patch it was built for, since balance changes can shift a list's strength.
